Cascadia Tech Check Presentation

2024 Check Presentaion

The Clark County Newcomers Club presented an $8,261 check at its July Coffee to Dave Cole, the executive director of the Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation. Clark County Newcomers Club chose Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation as its charity for 2023-2024 due to Cascadia’s work with high school students in 10 school districts in Southwest Washington.  Cascadia Tech prepares high school students for career and technical jobs. Students can earn college credits as well as certifications and licenses specific to their program area. The club raised money with various prize drawings, a fashion accessories sale, a luncheon at the Cascadia Tech Culinary school, Cow Pie Bingo, and a donation from Beaches for half the cost of meals that were enjoyed by the club members.

Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation will continue to be the Clark County Newcomer’s charity during the 2024-2025.
